Month 6–8

Trabeculectomy Surgery

Fornix/limbus flap, MMC application, releasable sutures, bleb assessment, needling, 5-FU. TARGET: 50 trabeculectomies

Month 9–10

MIGS & Advanced Surgery

iStent inject, Xen gel stent, Ahmed/Baerveldt tube shunts, deep sclerectomy — OT observation + simulation

Month 10–11

Paediatric & Secondary Glaucomas

PCG, JPOAG, NVG, uveitic, traumatic, steroid-induced, ICE syndrome

Month 12

Research & Publication

Outcomes audit, manuscript writing, poster preparation, submission to peer-reviewed journal

Minimum Case Log: 50 trabeculectomies + 100 laser procedures + 300 OCT/VF interpretations + 200 gonioscopy examinations.

Skills Acquired: Trabeculectomy, SLT/LPI laser, OCT/VF interpretation, gonioscopy, MIGS awareness, comprehensive glaucoma medical management, research methodology.

Assessment Framework: Monthly DOPS (40%) + Written exam Month 6 (20%) + End-term clinical exam (25%) + Research (15%).
